Case Manager Registered Nurse Qualifications:
RN license required Certified Case Manager or related case management certification required , to include CCM, CDMS, CRRN, or COHN credentials Experience in workers compensation case management required Experience as a Telephonic case manager is required Knowledge of Florida Workers Compensation case law
Telephonic Case Manager Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to assigned referrals Ability to multitask Submit reports in the allocated time frame Ability to communicate effectively with appropriate parties and document communication. Providing ongoing support and expertise through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation and overall evaluation of individual claim needs. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement in interactions with field case mangers, physicians, patients and families Communicates required clinical information to adjusters to obtain authorization for proposed services Plan, implement and coordinate the care of an assigned patient population during the acute and non-acute care phases of illness Promote effective utilization of healthcare resources Act as a health care liaison between the claimant, physicians and employer At QMM, our goal is to facilitate prompt return to work while advocating for appropriate medical treatment in relation to the injury or illness that has occurred.
