JobSummary And QualificationsThe registered professional nurse isresponsible for the admission and care of ill newborns into theLevel 2 NICU through the process of assessment, diagnosis,planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, theregistered professional nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates,supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of theancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards ofprofessional nursing.
What qualifications you will need: Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or RecognizedCompact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements,including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and durationprovisions) Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or mustbe obtained within 30 days of employment start date Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must beobtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60months of employment start date 1-3 years of NICU experienceHCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission andoffer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialtiesinclude emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designatedby the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Otherspecialties include maternity and neonatal care. We are a Level IINICU hospital.
