The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires the ability to work independently while collaborating with families and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Administer medications and injections as prescribed by the physician. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including monitoring vital signs and evaluating overall health status. Perform venipuncture for blood draws and other necessary procedures. Assist with medical-surgical care, including wound management and post-operative care. Trach or Ventilator Care a +++++++ Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and treatment options. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Experience Proven experience as a nurse in home health preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical-surgical nursing, and basic life support techniques. Experience administering injections and performing patient assessments is highly desirable. Familiarity with infectious disease care protocols is an asset. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to work independently while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
