- Under the direction of the Provider, the Clinic Nurse providesdirect patient care in accordance with Company protocols,established standards of nursing practice, and the FL NursePractice Act.
- Promptly screens patients with signs or symptoms ofillness.
- Works with the clinical team for appropriate treatment,plan of care and disposition.

Primary Responsibilities:
Contributes to and supports the corporation’s quality initiativesby planning, communicating and encouraging team and individual.
Maintains a solid focus on quality and continuous improvementwithin job scope Maintains an active nursing appointment schedule for assisting theProvider in the monitoring of members’ health care needs. Assiststhe Care Manager and Provider in the follow-up management ofpost-hospitalized or post-emergency room visits Comprehensively screens patients for care opportunities andcollaborates with treating physician to develop care plans thatmeet patients’ needs and result in appropriate quality care Provides condition specific patient education and anticipatoryguidance, as well as care coordination, under the guidance of theProvider Provides health teaching Provides direct nursing care, comfort measures, emotional supportto patients Performs selected IV therapy and administers prescribed treatmentper Provider order Maintains clinical documentation within the medical recordsassuring compliance within all guidelines. Documents allinterventions, responses, and outcomes

RequiredQualifications:
High School graduate, GED or equivalent Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED forthe Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross) or the ability toobtain within 90 days of employment
For RNs:
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Science
- Valid Florida RN license

Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in Med-Surg, ER, ICU, Acute Care Experience with electronic health records (EHR) Experience in MS Office Bilingual, English/ Spanish proficiency
