Hours:

36 hours per week, 12 hour shifts

What You’ll Do:
  • As a Crisis Registered Nurse (RN), the applicantwill be integral in managing urgent, high-stress situations,collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitateand implement immediate treatment plans.

Responsibilities includemonitoring vital signs, administering medications and treatments,conducting laboratory testing, performing rapid physical andbehavioral health assessments, and providing compassionateengagement with clients and families in critical moments. The RNwill also be responsible for coordinating transitions of care inhigh-pressure environments and ensuring adherence to all relevantrules, guidelines, and directives to maintain safety and compliancewith regulations. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides prescribed medical treatmentand personal care services for clients.

Administers medication andthen evaluates and monitors clients for medication side effects

  • Coordinates, consults, and problem solves medical care andintervention with other team members and providers.

Providesclinical assessment and problem identification, crisisinterventions, documents significant interactions, and maintainsclinical charts and other reporting data.

  • Develops, implements,and maintains a medication administration system.

Serves as liaisonfor the pharmacy, orders meds, maintains medication supplies atnecessary levels and conducts medication counts. Meets with drugcompany representatives and assists with information andinstruction regarding medication programs offered bymanufacturers.

Will screen and evaluate lab reports and referabnormalities to the provider.

Audits medications, destruction ofmedications and MARS according to state regulations.

Educatesclients and consumers on medications.

Documents progress notes ontherapy and medications and reports medication errors.
