CONTRACTED ROLE IN CLEARWATER, FL – MONDAY-FRIDAY, 8A-5P!
Must Have’s:
Current RN license in Florida Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in oncology or radiation therapy. ACLS certification Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently. Proficiency with EMR systems and documentation standards. Day to
Day:
We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in radiation therapy or oncology to join our team. Conducting follow-up assessments for patients who have undergone radiation therapy, carefully monitoring and documenting symptoms, side effects, and overall progress. The nurse will collaborate closely with radiation oncologists and other members of the multidisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care plans. A key responsibility includes providing patients with education on post-treatment care, symptom management, and general wellness. The nurse will also respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and clinical expertise, ensuring a supportive and informative experience. Accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) is essential, along with active participation in quality improvement initiatives and regular team meetings.
