Responsibilities Include:

The MDS Coordinator working together with our Full-time team of MDS and assists them with completion and submission of accurate and timely interdisciplinary MDS Assessments, CAAs, and Care Plans according to CMS RAI Manual Regulations and in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Nursing at a minimum; Associate degree preferred. Current state license as a Registered Nurse. Two years of relevant nursing experience required. At least two year of supervisory or management experience. Must have CRN C Certification (clinical compliance). Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications. Must be able to safely and successfully perform job-related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of patient services..
  • Knowledge of state and local regulations regarding long term care and skilled nursing.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, staffing, and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
  • Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
