The Traveling Regional Nurse Consultant will provide services to the facilities in the areas of resident care, clinical systems/processes, activities, social services, staff development, nutritional services and assist with human resource management. The role is responsible for driving clinical outcomes, mentoring staff, implementation of facility policies, procedures, and clinical practice. This position is also responsible to participate in the orientation of new Nursing Leaders and assisting the Interdisciplinary Team to coordinate services for the best outcome for the residents. May be assigned to a facility for prolonged periods of time. This position requires Florida travel in Plant City and Hudson.

REQUIREMENTS
Associate Degree in nursing required, Bachelors preferred and previous regional experience Required Active Florida RN license required 3-5 years of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in a skilled nursing facility Knowledge and understanding of the survey and regulatory process in Florida. Ability to provide leadership and problem-solving skills Proficiency in verbal, written, and computer communication skills Ability to travel and work off hours as business needs Ability to work in a “Matrix” management environment
