The program supports the successful transition of the new nurse into a professional role in an acute care setting in one of the following patient care areas:
- Acute Care Services (Medical, Surgical, Oncology, Palliative, Orthopedics, Nephrology)
- Intermediate Care Services (Medical, Cardiac, Trauma, Neuro/Stroke)
- Critical Care Services(SICU, TICU, MICU)
- Emergency Services (Main ED, Pedi ED)
- Behavioral Health Services (Mental Health )
- Women’s and Children’s Services (Pediatrics, Pediatric ED, Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery, NICU)
- Perioperative Services (OR, PACU)
- Cardiac Cath Lab
- Please note that that Perioperative Services and Cardiac Cath Lab positions require a 30 minute call expectation.
Qualifications & Experience Essential:
Associate Degree in Nursing completed in advance of start date.
