A Woman’s Choice is a Christian, pro-life pregnancy help clinic, helping women and men who are facing unplanned pregnancies by providing Christ-centered medical services, education, and support. Clinic staff provide medical services and care to patients while upholding the ministry’s commitment to the sanctity of life. You must be a Registered Nurse or an RDMS to apply for this role. This is a part-time position that will be assigned either to our main clinic or Mobile Clinic (MC), or potentially both. Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Intake of patient medical information and sexual risk assessment Provide patient education on pregnancy, abortion, STIs, and birth control Process pregnancy testing and provide results Performing a limited obstetric ultrasound (training will be provided) Proper cleaning and maintenance of machine and equipment after use Processing testing for STIs Patient charting and computer data entry for patient files Follow-up calls to at-risk pregnant patients and for STI results Fulfill medical record requests from other facilities Possibility of traveling & performing duties on the Mobile Medical Unit throughout Lakeland and surrounding cities Qualifications include: Candidate must be a committed, biblical Christian who holds a strong pro-life position Must hold appropriate state and professional licensing–either an RN or RDMS Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN or RDMS Compassion and empathy for women in crisis Adherence to policies, procedures, and OSHA guidelines Strong interpersonal and administrative skills The ability to function well in a sometimes busy and fast-paced environment Physically able to stand for long periods of time Have manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination for operation of equipment Have good eyesight or corrected vision Have a compassionate bedside manner Abide by the office core values Experience in Ob/Gyn nursing, with limited obstetric ultrasound, or in a pregnancy center is a plus Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also a plus.
