Pre-op and PACU RN Evocare Urology 5664 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34233 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care during the pre operative & recovery phase following surgical procedures. This role requires strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. As a PACU RN, you will play a critical role in monitoring patients’ vital signs, managing patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from anesthesia to recovery. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ conditions pre & post-surgery, including vital signs and pain management. Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Develop and implement individualized discharge plans in coordination with healthcare providers. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with standards and regulations. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding post-operative care. Utilize electronic health record for documentation and communication. Participate in case management activities to facilitate effective patient transitions. Experience Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Experience in PACU or critical care settings preferred. Familiarity with medical documentation standards and discharge planning processes.
