Job Description
RN Wound Care Nurse Apopka Health and Rehab 2001 Alston Bay Boulevard, Apopka, FL 32703 Opened in the Fall of 2020, Apopka Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 180-bed skilled nursing facility on the North side of Apopka. Our community is full of dedicated and compassionate caregivers, and we are looking for additional team members to work with our at-risk patient population. Our community has an opportunity for a Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN). You will supervise nursing personnel, participate in MDS and care planning for residents with wounds, serve an integral role in the staff training and hiring process, and deliver direct care to all residents.
Responsibilities include:
Management and treatment of specific skin conditions on assigned residents, in accordance with physician orders and appropriate techniques. Complete follow-up assessments weekly and as needed. Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in our state. At least one year of experience in a long-term skilled nursing community. Able to relate positively and favorably to customers and families and to work cooperatively with others. Demonstrate understanding of state and federal rules and regulations that govern the practices of the facility. We are a vaccinated care facility.
