Job Description:

Gifted Healthcare is seeking experienced LTAC Nurses (RNs) for travel contracts in New Jersey. This role requires relocation for the length of the contract. As an LTAC Nurse , you will provide specialized care for critically ill patients in a LTAC setting. Your expertise in LTAC nursing will be crucial in ensuring patients receive high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their complex needs, including ventilator management, wound care, and critical care monitoring.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive care to LTAC patients throughout the assessment, intervention, and evaluation process. Administer medications and manage chest tubes, ventilators, wound vacs, critical care IV drips, feeding tubes, and central lines for LTAC patients. Monitor patient status, implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes to ensure optimal care in the LTAC setting. Guide and supervise clinical support staff, ensuring high standards of care in the LTAC environment. Manage specialized care for LTAC patients, including ventilators, tracheostomies, IV drips, and other critical interventions. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement care plans for LTAC patients. Requires a minimum of 2 years of LTAC RN experience, with recent experience in the LTAC specialty.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, specifically in LTAC nursing. Recent hands-on experience with LTAC procedures, including ventilators, tracheostomies, critical care IV drips, and central lines.
