Qualifications:

Job Requirements of Wound Care Nurse (RN): Must be a RN in good standing and currently licensed by the state where our facility is located (FL) Minimum of one years experience in long-term care setting Must be a supportive team member, contribute to, and be an example of teamwork. Must posses leadership and supervisory ability and willingness to work harmoniously with staff.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse (RN): Perform wound assessments, reassessment, and management for all residents. Create plan of care including goals, treatment, evaluation and outcomes of residents. Provide education to residents, family, and staff regarding wound management, prevention, support, and other therapies. Direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs and other nursing personnel. Demonstrate knowledge and skill to develop and implement policies and procedures to manage residents with wounds.
