RESPONSIBLE FOR
The staff nurseprovides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycleutilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, andevaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within theframework of the policies and procedures of the organization anddemonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staffnurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice,coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in theprovision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
New Graduates of a nursing programeligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License inthe State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced certification in field ofspecialty, if applicable. Bachelor’s degree preferred. NursingExperience in Hospital Setting Preferred.
