RN Home Health Faye Hires Travel Nurses Macon, GA We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status, including vital signs and medical history. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and preferences. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including acute pain management and tube feeding. Provide education to patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities in compliance with regulatory standards. Support patients with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities, infants, or requiring assistance in activities of daily living. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: Previous experience in acute care or home health settings is preferred. Proficiency in basic life support techniques. Knowledge of internal medicine practices is advantageous. Experience working with patients requiring assisted living support or those with developmental disabilities is a plus. Familiarity with infant care practices is desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
