The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout their treatment journey. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care that meets the physical and emotional needs of individuals across various age groups. 3 openings for night RN (7p-7a, 36 hrs/wk), 13 weeks, EOW, start ASAP 2 openings for day RN (7a-7p, 36hrs/wk), 13 weeks, EOW, start ASAP Must have LTAC or Critical Care (CCU, ICU, strong IMC/Stepdown) experience Be comfortable with Trachs/Vents Be comfortable titrating drips if needed Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patient health status. Administer medications accurately and monitor patient responses. Develop and implement individualized discharge planning for patients. Manage pain effectively through appropriate interventions and therapies. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Provide care for infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Utilize Epic or similar electronic health record systems for patient management. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care. Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive measures. Provide specialized care for toddlers as needed, ensuring age-appropriate interventions. Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, and pain management techniques. Experience in discharge planning and medication administration preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly Epic, is a plus. Ability to provide compassionate care for patients of all ages, including toddlers.
