Job Summary and Qualifications Seeking a Nurse Extern for our facility who provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, efficient care.
As a Nurse Extern, you will function under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and perform specific and assigned tasks, which are supportive of all patient populations. What you will do in this role: You will provide adequate daily patient care and report information to Team Leader. You will provide a safe and confidential environment for the patient. You will accept accountability for completion of assignments, demonstrate reliability and dependability, adhere to attendance policies, and utilize time and resources efficiently. You will reflect the values of HCA Healthcare and our ethics and compliance principles in your daily activities (as stated in Code of Conduct).
What qualifications you will need:
Must be currently enrolled in an approved RN Program and completed Fundamentals of Nursing A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Enrolled in Nursing Program and have completed fundamentals of nursing course.
