Long Term Acute Care Hospital Candidates must: Have LTAC or Critical Care (CCU, ICU, strong IMC/Stepdown) experience Be comfortable with Trachs/Vents Be comfortable titrating drips if needed Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, demonstrating exceptional clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in fast-paced environments. This role is vital in ensuring the well-being of patients in critical conditions, requiring both technical expertise and compassionate care. Responsibilities Assess and monitor patients’ conditions, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement comprehensive care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options and care processes. Perform advanced procedures such as IV infusion, trauma management, and medical imaging as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes within the critical care setting. Skills Proficiency in hospice palliative medicine and pain management techniques. Experience in memory care and assisted living environments is a plus. Familiarity with working in a Level I Trauma Center or similar high-acuity settings. Strong knowledge of trauma medicine principles and practices. Ability to operate medical imaging equipment effectively. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and patient education.
