Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) with Telemetry experience to join our team. In this role, you will care for patients who require closer monitoring than those on a general medical-surgical unit but are not critical enough for the ICU.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Stepdown/PCU experience
• Telemetry experience required
• must be proficient in cardiac rhythm interpretation

• ACLS & BLS

  certification (AHA required)

• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and recognize dysrhythmias
• Administer medications, IV drips, and treatments as prescribed
• Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on clinical needs
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans
