Travel We are seeking an experienced Cardiac PCU Registered Nurse to joinour team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. This position is for a travelnurse who will provide specialized care for post-cardiac procedurepatients in a 10-bed unit with 1:4 to 1:5 nurse-patient ratios. TheRN will be responsible for titrating Heparin, Cardizem, andAmiodarone drips, interpreting cardiac rhythms, and collaboratingwith the Monitor Techs and Charge RN to deliver high-qualitypatient care. Provide care for patients recovering from cardiac procedures suchas diagnostic cardiac cath, PTCA, pacemaker placement, CABG(post-day 3), Afib, and CHF. Adhere to the unit’s self-scheduling system, with weekend andholiday rotation. Float to Neurosurgical PCU on rare occasions. Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital of similar size andacuity. Successful completion of at least one prior travel contract. Must adhere to the 100-mile radius rule (travelers must live 101+miles from the facility).
