Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seekingtalent to fill the position of Registered Nurse – RN for ourEmergency Services Department. This job is permanent, PRN.

Establishes a plan ofcare which is appropriate to problems identified and involves thepatient according to his or her capabilities and desires. Performsplan of care intervention, including medication administration,specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medicalcare treatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records,and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team,physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performingactivities of daily living, including personal hygiene,elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as neededacross disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patienttransfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial supportneeds. Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family andprovides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture,condition, and circumstances. Works as an advocate for the physicaland emotional well-being of the patient.
