Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seekingtalent to fill the position of RN for our GeroPsych Department.
This job is permanent, full time.

Establishes a plan of care which is appropriate toproblems identified and involves the patient according to his orher capabilities and desires. Performs plan of care intervention,including medication administration, specimen collection, clinicaltreatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Documentspatient care given. Monitors, records, and communicates patientcondition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, andfamily. Assists patients with performing activities of dailyliving, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, andambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinatepatient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral andspiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluates learning needs ofpatient and/or family and provides patient/family educationappropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Works asan advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of thepatient.
