Vascular Nurse Ankle & Foot Centers of Georgia Jonesboro, GA 30236 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Vascular Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires proficiency in various medical procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Vascular Nurse will play a critical role in patient assessment, treatment, and education, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine health needs and develop individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including Botulinum toxin treatment. Monitor patients’ vital signs and respond to changes in their condition, utilizing skills in ventilating patients when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare team members in various departments such as Ophthalmology, Emergency Room, and Cardiac Catheterization to provide comprehensive care. Maintain accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards. Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment options, and preventive care strategies. Uphold safety protocols and infection control measures within the hospital setting. Requirements Valid nursing license in the state of practice. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques. Experience or training in Hospital Medicine is preferred. Familiarity with emergency procedures and cardiac catheterization is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
