Job Summary And QualificationsRegistered nursesprovide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurse isresponsible for collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinaryteam members to provide physical and psychological support topatients and their families. Daily responsibilities of theRegistered nurse include but are not limited to: assessments andreassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medicationadministration, documentation, education, proper maintenance ofequipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do inthis role: You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings,clean wounds, and monitor vital signs. You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, andmonitoring for patients. You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplinesfor well-coordinated patient care. You will monitor, record, and communicate patient condition asappropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems. You will assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planningneeds with members of your healthcare team.

What qualifications youwill need: RN licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or a Board ofNursing from a compact state. Bachelor’s degree is preferred BLS required Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer fromnon-ICU area Specialty certification preferred One to two years clinical nursing preferred ICU experience preferred.
