We are a 13 Bed unit thatspecializes in providing exceptional care immediatelypostoperatively for patients that undergo general surgery,ortho-spine surgery, total joint and other orthopedic surgeries,urology procedures, vascular surgery, gynecologic surgery,podiatric surgery, endoscopy procedures, non-open-heart cardiaccatheterization procedures, TEE and Cardioversion procedures, andinterventional radiological procedures.

Job Summary And QualificationsAs a Registered Nurseon this unit, some of the services you will provide are as follows: Monitoring and care of the post anesthesia patient Postoperative pain and nausea control Surgical site monitoring Compression therapy device removal post heartcatheterization Keeping families informed through the postoperative careprocessWhat qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 monthsof employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 6 monthsof employment start date Current TN RN Licensure or current compact state licensure Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree, or Masters Degree 1 year of ICU, ER, or PACU experience required.
