Plastic Surgery Nurse – No call, No weekends! 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 2285 Asquith Avenue SW, Marietta, GA 30008 Georgia Plastic, an upscale plastic surgery practice is looking for a Full time Operating room & clinic Registered Nurse to care for our peri-operative patients. We serve adult healthy patients in cosmetic plastic surgery. The RN collaborates as a team members to coordinate patient assignments, implement a plan of care, and develop/monitor/evaluate outcomes to ensure exceptional quality patient care from admission to discharge. The ideal candidate for this position will be cross-trained in our world class ambulatory surgery center to provide peri-operative care (PACU & Operating room) or has experience in the plastic surgery, dermatology, Operating Room, PACU or Critical care including circulating and scrubbing, strong leadership and collaborative skills. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing a 360 high quality nursing care. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus. There is No call, No Weekend, No Holiday duties! Responsibilities Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians Collaborate with physicians, physician assistant, and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.) Provide instant medical care in emergencies Assist surgeons during operations and in clinic Supervise and train MA and nursing assistants Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. Skills Proven experience as a registered nurse Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures Excellent knowledge of emergency care In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times A team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Responsible and compassionate Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills Patient with excellent problem-solving skills BSc or other diploma from a nursing program Valid nursing license
