This position is a permanent, full time position made up of 8-13week assignments – not a short term option or temporary contract.

Compensation varies based on factors including, but not limited to,experience, skills, education, performance and salary range at thetime of the offer. Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care inarea of specialty in accordance with established policies,procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implementand monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicatepatient condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator ofall disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carryout physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient’sdischarge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Requirements Licensure / Certification /
Registration:
AdvancedLife Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date orjob transfer date required. American Heart Association or AmericanRed Cross accepted. BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days)of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurseobtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Musthave compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travelassignment location prior to start of assignment.
Education:
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
WorkExperience:
One year of RN experience in an acute care settingrequired. Additional Preferences One year of recent experience withCVICU strongly preferred.
