Job Summary And QualificationsThe RNis responsiblefordecisions and actions within the domain of nursing practice.

Important aspects of this responsibility are the promotion of asafe and therapeutic environment for both the recipients andproviders of nursing care; acquisition of specialized knowledgeskills and additional formal education to provide specialized care;demonstration and validation of competence in nursing practice;clinical practice consistent with the policies,procedures,andstandards of this facility; and supervision of other staff asdesignated within the departmentWhat qualifications you will need: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days ofemployment start date Texas State RN License or compacted license required Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree CRRN Preferred Minimum of 1-year recent nursing experience required;post-acute inpatient rehab care settingpreferred.

ExperienceutilizingPatient Assessment Instrument(IRF-PAI) for inpatient rehab preferred.
