Hour Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients , ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator management, following established protocols and best practices. Educate and train patients’ families on tracheostomy and ventilator care techniques, enabling them to provide care at home. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Requirements:
Valid LPN or RN license in GA. Minimum 1 years of experience working as an LPN or RN in pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator care. Familiarity with caring for children and young adults with special needs, including developmental disabilities and complex medical conditions. Proficiency in tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and related procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and handle emergency situations with confidence.
