RESPONSIBLE FOR
The staff nurse provides nursingcare to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursingprocesses to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care forpatients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies andprocedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growthand accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of a nursingprogram
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1 year of CVICU experience
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License inthe State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense. BLS and ACLS certification required.
ADDITIONALQUALIFICATIONS
Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Nursing Experience inHospital Setting Preferred.
