• We are seeking a capable
• Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse / WOC
• /RN•who has acquired broad experience in caring for patients and has developed a sound understanding about the care of a particular patient population.

Routinely uses acquired knowledge, theory, research and experience to respond to changes in clinical situations. We need WOC nurses at the below locations: +

QUALIFICATIONS

• + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, 2.

5 years of recent experience in at least one of the following within the past five years: Medsurg / Acute Care, Intensive Care Unit, or Operating Room + Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia. + BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, FHM (relevant to role) required. + Professional certification in at least 1 relevant specialty area preferred. + Completion of professional certification in relevant specialty area required within 1 year of employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• + Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) AND Completion of an accredited Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing Education program + Two years’ experience as an RN + Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.

+ BLS certification + ACLS may be required in designated departments. + Must achieve certification in Wound Care and Ostomy Care within 12 months
