Resurgens Surgery Center is a single-specialty outpatientsurgery practice that specializes in orthopedic surgery. Our surgery center is a joint venture between ResurgensOrthopedic Group and USPI, the nation’s largest provider ofsurgical services. We are currently searching for a PRN OR Registered Nurse tojoin our team. The OR Nurse is responsible for the nursing activities relatedto the care of the patient experiencing an operative or otherinvasive procedure. The staff member can expect to care for adult patients,including the older adult through geriatric, and pediatric patientsfrom 12 months through adolescence Current American Heart
BLS/ACLS/PALS
certification andexperience working as an operating room circulator arerequired. This is a full-time position- actual days and hours willvary. Ideal candidates will be focused on excellent customer service,have the ability to multi-task, the ability to show flexibility inassignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards,maintain professional competencies, and have the ability to work aspart of an interdependent multidisciplinary team.

Candidate:

Required Skills:
Current GA Nursing License Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correcterrors. Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patientsand families. Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to theoperating room. Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills, demonstratingknowledge of the developmental needs of the pediatric, adolescent,adult and geriatric patients.
