Non-Exempt/ Part-time Job Summary:
Field based nurse providing on-site clinical testing and therapy to patients within multiple OBGYN accounts serviced by CoreHealth Solutions (CHS). Will assist, treat and encourage patients in the pelvic health evaluation and pelvic floor rehabilitation therapy program.
Essential Key Responsibilities:
Travel to multiple OBGYN offices within defined coverage area to provide therapy services. Operate and maintain company provided diagnostic and therapy equipment Provide encouragement and feedback to OBGYN patients Assign patient at home therapy as per treatment protocol Act as company liaison to OBGYN physicians and staff contracted with CHS Ability to organize daily activity to provide services to multiple OBGYN locations Report client needs to Sales and management staff in a clear and timely manner Consult with OBGYN physicians and staff in regards to patient progress and follow up Attend staff meetings to provide feedback on service level provided to clients Build relationships with CHS clients that promote a healthy client relationship Completes equipment and company training programs within the required timeframe Maintains strictest confidentiality Complies with all State, Federal, professional regulations as well as company and departmental rules, polices, and procedural manuals Adherence to HIPAA, Safety and OSHA Regulations Performs other duties as assigned.
Education:
ADN or BSN Experience:
2-5 years nursing experience OBGYN, Labor and Delivery, or Physical Therapy preferred.
Requirements :
Must be registered Nurse licensed in state of practice. Local travel to and from multiple locations Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR). Comfortable in OBGYN setting. Resides in zip code 30309 (preferred)
Equipment :
General office equipment including but not limited to personal computers, fax machines, copiers, and printers. Pelvic Muscle Rehabilitation system providing one channel of vaginal and rectal intracavity, EMG or external pelvic muscle EMG, one channel of accessory muscle EMG, one channel of vaginal and rectal electrical stimulation, and one channel of rectal pressure manometry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Must have personal and reliable transportation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Skilled in using computer programs and applications Self starter who can manage relationships with OBGYN and other practices Excellent verbal and social skills, must be able to relate to patients and build relationships Willingness to learn new technology and equipment
Environmental Working Conditions:
Healthcare Physician Office Setting; Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, blood borne pathogens and chemical hazards. Frequent travel and driving for extended period of time. Exposure to all types of weather and traffic conditions.
Physical Requirements:
The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger; handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to focus.
