The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care to individuals recovering from anesthesia and surgery. This role requires a strong commitment to patient safety, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Duties Monitor patients’ vital signs and overall condition during the recovery phase post-surgery. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify any complications or adverse reactions. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding recovery processes and post-operative care. Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records. Assist in the management of patients with diverse needs, including geriatrics, children, and individuals with disabilities. Skills Proficient in patient care techniques and protocols for various age groups, including senior care and pediatric patients. Strong skills in patient assessment to identify changes in condition promptly. Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities and understanding their unique care requirements. Familiarity with geriatrics, clinic operations, and workers’ compensation law is beneficial. Experience with botulinum toxin treatment procedures is a plus. Understanding of Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments for long-term care settings is advantageous.
