• The role you’ll contribute:
• A Registered Nurse who is responsible for appropriate and safe care of patients in the Cath Lab, IR Lab, Cath/IR Recovery and Non-Invasive areas. Must work independently as well as within the team.

• PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• :•+ Is responsible for a holistic, individualized assessment of each patient in relationship to age, physiological, and psychological status.

+ Will identify and communicate any change in the patient’s status. + Interprets, evaluates and implements physician orders in a timely manner. + Is able to establish priorities and plans appropriate/responsible actions accordingly. + Addresses educational needs of patients and their families. + Administration knowledge of commonly used drugs/solutions used in the Cardiology and IR procedures. + Participates in the transfer of patient information to provide for continued quality care. + Documents all phases of patient status while responsible for their care. + Is able to assist with Cath Lab, IR, and Non-Invasive procedures as needed. + Uses stock judiciously and in a cost-effective manner. + Able to provide post procedure hemostasis and correctly apply post procedure dressing. + Participates in equipment quality controls and quality improvement efforts. + Rotates weekends and nights for call per department needs. + Responsible for daily crash cart checks. + Responsible for transporting patients to and from the department.

• EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
