RESPONSIBLE FOR
The staff nurse providesnursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizingnursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the carefor patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policiesand procedures of the organization and demonstrates professionalgrowth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible formaintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient careactivities of all assigned staff in the provision of qualitynursing care.
Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduateof a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
New Graduates ofa nursing program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREDBY LAW
Current License in the State of Georgia as a RegisteredNurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
For PRN positions: One year of nursingexperience in a hospital setting preferred Bachelors degreepreferred Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable (see addendum) Nursing Experience in Hospital SettingPreferred
