Charge Nurse, full-time nights Piedmont Henry Hospital ICU Unit Profile We are a 24 bed Medical/Surgical fast-paced, high acuity IntensiveCare Unit staffed with Critical Care Intensivists/APPs 24/7. Alsoincluded in our staff mix are Registered nurses, RespiratoryTherapists, and Patient Care technicians. Typical nurse to patientratio is 1:2/ 1:3. ICU Sepsis and MultiSystem Organ failure management Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) Targeted Temperature Management (TTM) for post cardiac arrest EKOS Ultrasound Accelerated Thrombolysis Management of Pacemakers Complex Respiratory Failure patients requiring advanced ventilatorysupport Acute Stroke Care with Alteplase management Management of Shock to include cardiac, septic, hypovolemic. Management of neurosurgical patients including care of externalventricular devices Patients with ARDS requiring manual prone therapy Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients frombirth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues duringhis/her shift. Provides clinical care as needed when censusdemands. Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staffconcerns to the appropriate leader(s). Serves as resource forguidance and assistance to the staff. Graduate of a nursing program. One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required. Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse orNLC/eNLC Multistate License. Two or more years of nursingexperience in a hospital setting preferred. Bachelor’s degreepreferred. Advanced certification in field of specialty, ifapplicable.
