Qualifications:
RESPONSIBLEFOR
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birththrough the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan,implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functionswithin the framework of the policies and procedures of theorganization and demonstrates professional growth andaccountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.
MINIMUMEDUCATION REQUIRED
Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUMEXPERIENCE REQUIRED
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License inthe State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC MultistateLicense. BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
ForPRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital settingpreferred Bachelors degree preferred Advanced certification infield of specialty, if applicable (see addendum) Nursing Experiencein Hospital Setting Preferred
