Shift/Schedule:
3×12 Days 7a -7p no on call The Progressive Care Nurse plays a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients who require close monitoring and specialized treatment. This position is essential in bridging the gap between intensive care and general medical-surgical units, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate level of care during their recovery. Certs needed for assignment:
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS RN
License Duties Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and recovery processes. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with hospital standards. Perform triage assessments in emergency situations to prioritize patient care. Utilize critical thinking skills to respond to changing patient conditions effectively. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control measures within the hospital environment. Experience Previous experience in a hospital setting, particularly in progressive care, critical care, or emergency room environments is highly desirable. Familiarity with medical documentation systems and standards is essential for maintaining accurate patient records.
