Work Shift:

Day•12 Hour (United States of America) A caring health system dedicated to excellence•today and tomorrow. 7a-7p Primarily responsible for providing professional nursing care within the assigned unit. Coordinates plan of care with the patient, their family, and the interdisciplinary team. Ensures appropriate resources to all internal/external customers. Responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, and quality commitment of Houston Healthcare. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Residency or Fellowship programs may apply depending on department and experience. Current US state RN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current

AHA/ARC BLS

certification. Current

AHA ACLS/ARC

ALS and

AHA/ARC PALS

certification or obtained within 9 months. Completion of the Rhythm Interpretation Course CLEP test or classroom course or obtained within 3 months. CPT training within 9 months of hire. Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy. Must complete and maintain required stroke education/training as mandated in the “HHC Primary Stroke Center / Acute Stroke Ready Designation” policy. Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc. Successful candidates will be subject to criminal background and drug screens.
