LegacyMeridian Park Medical Center is the South Metro area’s full-servicemedical center, with the friendly feel of a community hospital andthe skill and services of a much larger medical center.
Among ourspecialties:
stroke, chest pain, minimally invasive and roboticsurgery, cancer care and orthopedic and total joint surgery. Plus abirth center and breast health center. The Surgical SpecialtiesUnit is located on the third floor, units 3A & 3B of LegacyMeridianPark Medical Center.
Number of beds: 26 beds, all privatebeds.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for patient care within anassigned department/unit and participates as a member of the healthcare team in cooperation with and under the direction of theclinical manager or designee as defined by the relevant Standardsand Scope of Practice for the Registered Nurse. The RN Staff Nurseassesses, analyzes, plans, implements and evaluates patient carefollowing established patient care standards for Legacy HealthSystem including those for patient assessment and transfer.
Qualifications:
Education:
As required by licensure. BSN or degreein progress strongly preferred. BSN may be required for specificassignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based onclinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
Experience:
One-year registered nursing experience or completion of either theLegacy Health RN Residency program or a nursing program that isequivalent in content, curriculum and duration. Additional clinicalexperience requirements may vary dependent upon the specificdepartment in which the position is utilized.
Knowledge/Skills:
•Demonstrated ability of positive interpersonal and communicationskills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians and thecommunity.•Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronicsystems applicable to job functions.
Licensure:
•Currentapplicable state RN license required.•AHA BLS for HealthcareProviders.
Pay Range:
USD $50.57•USD $75.55 /Hr.
