Roles and Responsibilities Assess and treat patients with wounds, ostomies, and skin issues. Teach patients how to care for their wounds and ostomies. Work with doctors and nurses to create care plans. Help improve wound care through research and quality checks. Keep nursing licenses and certifications up to date.
