RESPONSIBLEFOR
The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birththrough the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan,implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functionswithin the framework of the policies and procedures of theorganization and demonstrates professional growth andaccountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintainingstandards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of allassigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications:
MINIMUM EDUCATIONREQUIRED
Graduate of a nursing program
MINIMUM EXPERIENCEREQUIRED
New Graduates of a nursing program eligible
MINIMUMLICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW
Current License in theState of Georgia as a Registered Nurse BLS certification required.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree preferred Advancedcertification in field of specialty, if applicable IND123 LI-POSTGD
