Resident Trust Fund Clerk
REPORTS TO
Business Office Manager Non-Exempt
PURPOSE OF POSITION
The primary purpose of your job position is to monitor all Accounts Receivable functions relating to residents of Magnolia Manor, Inc. and as directed by the Business Office Manager. As the Resident Trust Fund Clerk , you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. ROLES and
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain Accounts Receivable (A/R) subsidiary ledgers. Add, change, and delete all resident files as necessary. Post and record daily cash receipts of payments as well as reconcile cash receipts posted by facilities to deposit slips. Prepare monthly billing to residents. Maintain daily census records. Perform Dept. of HUD banking requirements. Monthly deposits for Insurance escrow, Repair, and Replacement. Maintain resident’s Security account. Maintain binders containing printouts of daily postings and monthly reports generated by the computer and/or save to reports server. Any other function as requested by the Business Office Manager.
KEY CHARACTERISTICS
Ability to make independent decisions. Ability to work with frequent interruptions. Ability to interpret/ implement objectives for providing sound accounting techniques.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma. Must have, as a minimum, 2 years’ experience in general accounting and data processing.
