Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seekingtalent to fill the position of Registered Nurse – Float Pool forour MedSurg Department. This job is permanent, PRN.

Establishes a plan of care which isappropriate to problems identified and involves the patientaccording to his or her capabilities and desires. Performs plan ofcare intervention, including medication administration, specimencollection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical caretreatment. Documents patient care given. Monitors, records, andcommunicates patient condition as appropriate to care team,physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performingactivities of daily living, including personal hygiene,elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Performs role specific duties as assigned, includingentering orders, performing admissions and/or discharges, andcoordinating transfers. Responds to complaints about patient careand related services, and manages through established channels.

Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being ofthe patient.
