Job Description
RN PCU/Stepdown Lifeline Healthcare Professionals Georgia Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Progressive Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients who require close monitoring and specialized treatment. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, often within a Level II trauma center, and requires a strong understanding of various medical conditions and treatments. The Progressive Care Nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Duties Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established protocols. Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status, providing timely interventions as necessary. Administer medications and treatments, including basic life support measures when required. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in the management of patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment options, including hospice palliative medicine and infectious disease care. Document all patient interactions accurately in the Epic electronic health record system. Participate in case management activities to ensure continuity of care. Stay current with best practices in nursing care, including botulinum toxin treatment techniques. Patient Types & Common Diagnoses Cardiac, neuro, ortho, and critical care patients Must have experience in treating STEMI and stroke patients

Requirements:
Candidates must have experience in a hospital of similar size and acuity. Minimum of 2 years’ experience and at least 1 successfully completed travel contract required.
