As part of the Wound Care/Treatment Team, the Wound Care Nurse participates in assessing and evaluating the clinical needs of residents with wounds while working with them and the rest of the care team in planning and implementing care plan that addresses the needs.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday Dayshift Responsibilities of a

Wound Care/Treatment Nurse:

Conduct comprehensive wound consultations including detailed wound assessments and recommendations for interventions and care planning. Conduct wound assessments for residents and complete all associated documentation, tracking and care planning activities. Ongoing monitoring of all assigned residents with wounds. Assess residents/caregiver’s knowledge of wound prevention and treatment. Provide residents/caregivers with wound prevention and treatment education as needed.

Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a Wound Treatment Nurse in a Nursing Home or LTC. RN License in GA state. Wound Certification a plus. Apply today!
