This job acts as a leader in the provision of patient care usingthe nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act,ANA Code for Nurses and Scope & Standards of Practice. Effectivelydelegates, directs, and assists licensed and ancillary teammembers. Assumes accountability for quality patient outcomes,exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic and religious diversity inall interactions, and maintains involvement in activities aimedtoward the achievement of unit and the departments strategic goalsand objectives. Demonstrates professional responsibility andaccountability for his/her own practice and supports the company’sphilosophy of nursing.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationfrom the American Heart Association.
