Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to onlong-range goals or plans. Continues to develop the ability to copewith and manage contingencies of clinical nursing. Makesappropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as ameans to help manage the clinical situation.

• Using the appropriateprotocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors forside-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed.
• Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given.
• Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, familymembers and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.

JobRequirements:

Education/Skills

• Bachelor of Science Degree inNursing, preferred Experience
• 1 year of experience in the relatednursing specialty preferred Licenses, Registrations, orCertifications
• BLS required
• RN License in state of employmentor compact
